SEFHT is the Official Sponsor of the European Padel Championships and will accompany the eleventh edition of this prestigious event which will be held from 4 to 9 November 2019 in Rome.
This edition of the European Championships is particularly important for the world padel . The goal set by the International Padel Federation (FIP) is challenging: to make padel an Olympic sport starting from the next Paris 2024 Olympics and to obtain international recognition for a sport with the highest growth trend in the world which to date it boasts more than 15 million practitioners, 38 national federations that are members of FIP and 32 other countries that have applied to join.

Luigi Carraro , president of the International Padel Federation, comments on the importance of the event in question: “It will give us the opportunity to demonstrate to the Olympic world that padel has taken the right path to be recognized as an Olympic sport. This milestone will allow us to revolutionize it in terms of diffusion, development and attractiveness. Our path is serious, linear and concrete in order to make padel Sport Olympic”.

A delegation of the European Olympic Committees will also be present for this important event in Rome with the aim of verifying whether there is the possibility of including padel in the III European Games to be held in Poland in 2023.
This time it will be the Bola Padel Club that will host the European Championships over an entire week of competition, divided as usual into an initial group stage and a second phase by draw starting from the round of 16. The Padel Committee of the Italian Tennis Federation together with the ACME company, which deals with the organization of the event, promise to create one of the most important events of 2019. The participation of 16 nations is expected for a total of 300 athletes and an expected flow of about 30,000 people.
